Connecticut Fraternal Order of Police
Endorses David X. Sullivan for Congress
David X. Sullivan, a former 30-year career Federal prosecutor, has won the endorsement of the Connecticut State Fraternal Order of Police in his run for Congress in the 5th District of Connecticut.
The Fraternal Order of Police is the nation’s largest law enforcement organization, with more than 325,000 members and over 2,100 lodges throughout the United States.
“David X. Sullivan is clearly the most qualified law and order candidate running in this race,” said Danbury Police Sgt. John Krupinsky, who serves as president of the CT Fraternal Order of Police. “He cares about the safety of people and police officers.”
“I have devoted my career to public service and to protecting the safety of Connecticut families both in their homes and their communities,” said Mr. Sullivan. “This endorsement from the Connecticut branch of the nation’s largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers is incredibly humbling and energizing. I am proud to have the support of those who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving our communities.”
“Improving the working conditions of law enforcement officers and the safety of those they serve — through education, legislation, information, and community involvement – benefits everyone, especially now in these uncertain times.”
